Quilt Making Workshop @ Monkton Arts

Out On An Island LGBT History club workshops. Everyone welcome.

This is an opportunity to participate in StoneCrabs Out On An Island Pride In Self Pride In Place LGBT History workshops.

We celebrate LGBT History Month by paying homage to the all the NHS staff who are/were key in supporting our community, particularly throughout the 80s & 90s. We will be learning about the Health & Wellbeing campaigns through our exhibition.

Together with Jenna Sabine and Dawn Fidler, we will be revisiting the 80s/90s LGBT History through the AIDS Memorial Quilt, and creating our own ‘patch’ in response to the Quilt and our LGBTQ+ History.
