Celebrate LGBT+ History Month
with Out On An Island and Staying Afloat
Come along to enjoy a coffee and croissant while you chill-out and chat about all things LGBTQ+. Find out about LGBTQ+ groups Out On An Island and Staying Afloat, and watch StoneCrabs’ new documentary about the Isle of Wight’s LGBTQ+ history.
10am to 12pm – Connect with project members to find out about opportunities to meet with like-minded individuals.
1.30pm – Out Stories Matter documentary screening (60 mins)
Out On An Island is hosting an exhibition at Carisbrooke Castle Museum (Feb – Aug 2022) and launching their project’s book which looks at the Isle of Wight’s hidden LGBTQ+ history.
Staying Afloat is supporting LGBTQ+ people of all ages with their mental health, using the opportunity to connect with others, free counselling and activities which participants can choose.
